Group Calls Attention to Law Enforcement Suicide Rates

National Police Week is also calling attention to the rise in law enforcement suicide rates. 2018 marks the third year in a row where more American police officers died by suicide than all other line-of-duty deaths. If current rates continue, 2019 will see a 26% jump in law enforcement suicides. Many departments are shifting resources to provide help.
