VA Offers Free Emergency Care for Veterans in Suicidal Crisis

Veterans determined to be in acute crisis can now get up to 30 free days of inpatient care and or 90 free days of outpatient care. The veteran does not have to be enrolled in the VA to utilize the benefit. This new policy was just took effect on January 17th of this year, so it is important to educate communities that this benefit is available and within the reach of those who need help.
